Cary Weitzman

Cary Weitzman has lived in Kingston since 2007. A dedicated year-round bike commuter, he spent the previous 20 years living and commuting in downtown Toronto where he was active in cycling advocacy and activism at the grassroots level, gaining first-hand insight into the urban planning issues surrounding city cycling. During that time, he also spent several years working in the bicycle industry, focusing specifically on the needs of commuting and utility cyclists.

A former TBN member and current member of the Kingston Velo Club, Cary is an veteran randonneur cyclist and has served as route designer and board member for Randonneurs Ontario.

Cary's personal copy of Effective Cycling was purchased in 1984.
