Paul Rappell is a retired teacher (Toronto Catholic District School Board), who moved to Kingston in 2002. His cycling and advocacy experience in Toronto was extensive and included being a year-round cycle commuter, secretary and co-chair of the High Park Citizens' Advisory Committee, co-chair of the Toronto City Cycling Committee and its post-amalgamation successor, the Toronto Cycling Committee.
Mr. Rappell was the editor of Cyclometer, the newsletter of the TCC. He is the newsletter editor and former secretary of the Kingston Velo Club, and former vice president of Cycle Ontario Alliance, is a tour leader on the Multiple Sclerosis Bicycle Tours, and is a member of the Cataraqui Trail Management Board. Mr. Rappell is also a nationally certified CAN-BIKE instructor.
