Ross Trethewey has commuted by bicycle for over 20 years in Kingston and Ottawa, and has been active in promoting cycling in both cities. He was president of the Kingston Bicycling Advisory Committee, once a committee of Council. He has contributed input and resources to the City of Kingston’s Transportation Master Plan, and Cycling and Pathways Study, and worked diligently to encourage the launch of the Rack and Roll program – an initiative to put bike racks on the front of city buses to encourage multi-modal transportation.
