Town Hall Meeting II: Cyclists and Motorists

Cycle Kingston, Inc. cordially invites you to attend the second in our free Town Hall meetings on cyclists‚ and motorists‚ use of the roads and related aspects (such as parking, etc.). Questions will be taken from the audience following short overview presentations from a panel.
- Who shouid attend?
- Motorists, cyclists, cyclists who drive cars, motorists who ride bicycles, other road users, and anyone interested in knowing more about the issues.
- What to expect?
- Expect a factual exchange of information designed to dispel myths and misconceptions; and, get answers to your relevant questions.
- Why a town hall meeting on cycling in the fall?
- Over the past few months, there has been much media attention given to cycling and cyclists on roadways. Unfortunately, in some cases, this attention has caused some people to take sides as either cyclists or motorists. We hope to mediate any tensions and help make the roads safer for all of us by learning what it really means to Share the Road.

About Cycle Kingston
Cycle Kingston is a grassroots, registered Canadian charity whose mandate is to promote and encourage cycling in Kingston through education and public outreach.
Our focus is on making cycling education available to as many people as possible by using different methods (such as courses, class presentations, media advertising, etc.) so that people will become empowered to learn to ride safely and more inclined to make the choice to cycle.
