Welcome to Cycling Week in Kingston 2024

"Bicycles have no walls." ~ Paul Cornish

Picture

Picking up speed as we continue to comeback from the pandemic break, our second year back in the saddle has lots in store for both cyclists and those interested in bicycles.  Roll-in-breakfasts, World Bicycle Day celebration, community rides, around-town Cycling Week specials, workshops, and other activities and events to celebrate the most innovative machine in over two centuries!

Cycling Week in Kingston is designed to be a community participation event; meaning, we want to include anyone and any organization or business who is willing to help celebrate bicycles and cycling for any and all reasons! People cycle for transportation, recreation, personal health and fitness, environmental reasons, economic reasons, and combinations of these and many other reasons. The City of Kingston continues to be one of the best places in Canada for bicyclists. The combined efforts by the City and community in areas such as education, infrastructure, and general awareness regarding cycling is something to be celebrated!

Check out the activities and events for Cycling Week in Kingston 2023 below, come back for updates AND look for Cycling Week promotions and specials at the end of this page. Don't forget to follow us on Twitter and Instagram, @cyclekingston! If you would like to have an event or activity listed for this year, please send an email to [email protected].

Cheers to bicycles!
