BEHAVIOUR AND DISCIPLINE
We expect participants will want to be engaged and have decided to come to this camp because they want to have fun and learn skills that will make them a strong and wise cyclist. There will be times when our instructors will need to do the talking, and we expect that our campers will listen attentively. But rest assured, there will be plenty of times when the campers will be talking, working together, practising skills, getting dirty, and having fun! We expect that campers will respect each other and themselves, and will use appropriate language. There will be times for indoor voices, but definitely times for outdoor voices as well.
If there are any instances of behaviour that we consider inappropriate, we will speak with the camper to ensure they understand why it was inappropriate and we will work together to address it. We will document any continued instances of inappropriate behaviour, and provide that to the parent/guardian at the end of that day to solicit your assistance. If an extreme case of ongoing inappropriate or unsafe behaviour occurs, we may contact the parent/guardian to immediately remove the participant from the camp, with no expectation of a refund.
In addition, all campers and staff will adhere to the COVID-19 safety regulations and protocols in place at the camp as well as at any offsite locations visited throughout the week.
